Mountain Ash Trees

The switch to daylight saving gives me the opportunity to capture images on my way home from work, rather than being restricted to just morning & lunch breaks.

This afternoon I celebrated by diverting into the edge of Nellies Glen, just to the west of Katoomba in the Blue Mountains to capture some of my favourite Mountain Ash Trees. Unfortunately I just missed the best of the late afternoon light, including low Sun. The resulting colour version was lacking a little impact, so I have elected to post a mono version (for me, no surprise at all I hear you all say!).
