Autumn is here
Very heavy rain in the morning clearing at lunchtime, then sunny and bright.
An early morning start for my last visit for the Clinical Drug Trial at Ninewells Hospital. This has lasted seven months and I am pleased to say that it has come to an end. The Professor in charge was very grateful and promised to inform me of the results of the overall Trial when they are known. Personally, I did not notice any improvements in my condition during the Trial. This may be because either I was taking the placebo or that the drug was not helpful to me.
In the garden, as everywhere else, there are clear signs that Autumn has arrived. Taking advantage of the bright sunshine, I decided to blip these leaves on the Deciduous Azalea. I liked the warm colours and marvelled at the creative cycle of nature.
If you have a few minutes and want to de-stress have a listen to this rendition of 'Falling Leaves'' by one of my favourite singers, Eva Cassidy, sadly taken from us so young.
