Pattern Close Up

This edition of the views is a close up of a woven wicker basket. I wanted a picture of a design pattern that we don't really notice because we're moving too fast, it seems too ordinary, or we're not attentive to that character nuance.
 I tried the furnace grate, but that was too dreary, then picked the basket.  
This final shot was selected because of the shadow and light patterns. It almost looks like a pile of logs at the sawmill. All I did was crop out the round edges in the original photo.
