Training for a fitness test.
Right you lot, I need some encouragement! Been going to the gym for three weeks now, and doing interval training on the treadmill. I need to go slow to get my breath back between the running bits. The total time includes a three min cool-down walk! So 190 calories extra I can eat tonight. I need to try and get ready to do my beep test soon. I hate fitness tests with a passion.
A busy day at work today but achieved and cleared several tasks so it was a good day.
After the gym I had to go via the petrol station as I was running a bit low. For about 30 secs on the way there my miles left in the tank didn't just register zero but had a series of dashes. It was a bit worrying as I thought I might not get to the petrol pump. I haven't run out of fuel since I was at uni! And I believe it's not a good idea for a diesel engine to drag the rubbish and dregs through the engine. Does anyone else find a miles left in tank is more of a challenge as you run it closer to empty than in the old days when it went into the red (and I think then there was still lots left in the tank).
Spent the evening lounging in front of the TV. Better go and get a bath soon.
