A public consultation on the expansion of the number of houses in the village. A little research suggested that the strategic housing assessment approved 40 houses, this consultation is drawn for 69, and apparently planning wouldn't object to +/- 10% from this. Just depends what "would deliver most value from the land to the owner".
You then look at the strategic plan in detail and see that there is 168 new homes allowed for in the village, probably doubling the size. Ultimately it's Whitehall's fault, they've set the policy and now the financiers and planning consultants think their boat has come in.
Hmm.
