Du Bist Meine Morgensonne

Not much sunshine around this morning but the mug carrying this inscription on the inner just kept smiling back me.

Later it was rain, rain and more rain but a DIY store trip was required to get some essential supplies and tools.

Some of the local roads in Hyde and Broadbottom were awash with obvious blocked drains the cause. Crossing from Tameside into Derbyshire and the difference was very obvious - gold star to Derbyshire CC for keeping most of the water in the drains and off the roads.

As is often the case the sun shone at the end of the day and I enjoyed a quick walk
