Chena River, Fairbanks AK

It was quite a thrill to look out the window of my bedroom this morning and see this view of the Chena River! It was dark when I arrived so there was no view of anything. A long trip from NZ, 26 hours+ all up but I slept well across the Pacific :)
No buses running today here - the road conditions are treacherous. The forecast is fog and snow for today, so a day for chilling (ha ha) out. It's -9C
