Late Again

One of the joys of coaching in London is the variability of travelling home.

This evening my booked train was cancelled due, if the main departure board is to be believed, to staff sickness. If the station announcer is to be believed then it's due to a temporary fault with the signalling system. If realtimetrains is to believed its due to a planning error.

Whilst waiting for my train I witnessed the 21:02 to Brighton depart with just 4 coaches with potential passengers turning away from the grossly overcrowded train. If only they knew that we have the joy of 12 coaches on our 'local' service.
