bounty

sloes from the hedgerow, apples from the garden, conkers from the green. A handful of leaves and a chive flower thrown in by Em for good measure. Em and me took our baskets for a wander this afternoon to see what we could find. Now I may have done a bit of pre-work earlier in the day, picking the sloes whilst Em was at school. A good thing I did too. The sloe does not give up it's fruit easily, you have to negotiate the long sharp thorns to pick them.
