Safety Shoes

When I'm at work I have to wear specially earthed shoes just in case I create a spark in a room full of flammable chemicals! I thought this was some sort of newbie prank on my first day because everyone else's so called "safety shoes" were black. Now I'm so used to them I managed to leave my office at the end of the day with them still on!
