Window onto the world

I made it up to Emley today, just a week after the new restaurant and the other facilities were opened. I finally got to see my images up on the wall for myself.

This is a shot from early last year taken early morning. The print is 4.4m x 3.3m. It takes up the whole of the wall in the room where the pool and table tennis tables along with sofa's etc. All facilities we don't get out in the sticks.

Its a shame that the conduit had to be strung across the top of the wall. The overall effect is quite stunning.

The local facilities owner has received many comments about this and the main one in the restaurant itself - I'm quite relieved.

It was back to more mundane things afterwards - meetings etc, then a drive back home in the sunshine - that was in complete contrast to the drive up this morning in fog, rain and spray. Quick meal and then out to a governors meeting. There's no rest for the wicked. Tomorrow night its back to being Dad's taxi…..
