Visiting ArtPrize 2014

I've been for the past four years, and every year there is a work of art that amazes me.
This year, although we saw fewer pieces, there were several that I found to be wonderful.

One of my favorites is called "Day Dreaming" and is by an artist named Raelynn Cutler.

Another one of my favorites had twenty sea creatures carved in the most beautiful woods...and here is my granddaughter, Avery, with one of the creatures.

Al and I had a fantastic time with our daughter, our son and his children, and our daughter-in-law, Sarah. Even though they are now divorced, we miss her and are glad to be able to have time together.

It was a lovely day...well worth the travel time to see our family and some great art!!!
