Medieval?

This forbidding notice roused our curiosity so of course we had to go and have a look. We passed a locked gate (there was a well worn path round it) and found a sturdy wooden palisade. There was a strong 'mediaeval' gate with a stout modern padlock so we peeped through the bars.

This was near Carron Valley reservoir where we walked the shorter of the way marked paths in sunshine and a chilly breeze. It was very wet in Aviemore so we headed nearer home where the forecast was better.
