A day off work today. The only time I made it out of the house was for a doctors appointment around ten-ish, where the doctor informed me that my sore throat and ear were a viral infection that had started in my throat and spread to my ear.

As it's viral the only advice he could give me was lots of rest and paracetamol and if it hasn't shifted in 8-10 days come back in as it would probably have turned bacterial by that point and require antibiotics.

So a day in bed it was, mostly sleeping off and on all day. Hope tomorrow's a bit better.
