Lonely Bay

...or that is what we call it, although everyone around the lake seems to call it something different. One of the young guys was telling me this morning that he calls it "Hoon Bay"...where you can go fast in your boat and no one can see you!

It is only a short boat ride from Otumutu Lagoon where we are, yet it feels like a different world. There is a real calmness, it is well sheltered and is surrounded by native bush and the swans and other birds seem to enjoy it as well.

The boat needed a short run so thought it was a good opportunity to get my daily blip, especially as it was quite a dreary day. Ended up with a few shots that I really liked. Have popped another one up on Flickr.

Off out to Club committee meeting tonight, never too late. Need to sort out topics for set subjects for next year, that is always a fun challenge.
