Gravity!

Brilliant moon just now.
Really interesting programme on TV this evening with Prof. Brian Cox.
Sitting in the back of a vehicle in Kazakhstan while he was waiting for some astronauts to return from a visit to the ISS, he showed that the physics required to bring them back to Earth relies on 2 laws written down by Sir Isaac Newton*.
Amazing thing is, Isaac Newton died in 1727!

* I think that's what he said - this was nearly 10pm and after a late conference call with our colleagues across the Atlantic the night before (till 1am!) by then I'm wiped out :-)
