Travelled a bit of distance today, but the locals in Moeraki are definitely related to those in Kaikoura. This guy was rolling slowly and quite relaxed just off the beach. I was wondering if perhaps he might have been unwell , then he came ashore and said G'day . Far and away the biggest I've seen on this trip and I might have seen perhaps 200 of them this morning. Ha, if I do the red moon thing tonight , wont be able to blip it!!
