My little universe is well-focused on The Ice. I sat for hours talking with a friend who has just been deployed to McMurdo Station, to leave in a week's time. It makes me even more excited, because I am now 100% ready and cleared for deployment there myself, as a painter. I'm still in "alternate" status, but I could be activated at any time.

Georgina is missing the tops of her ears. Frostbite, perhaps?
