Shandy Highland calf

Hooray - terrific change in the weather - brilliant sunshine, and so I thought I'd better take advantage of it and clear up some of the leaves in the garden. Everything was very wet and not very pleasant but I persevered and took two sacks down to the Garden Waste at the Resource Centre.! Nothing inspired a blip and so I went for a walk this afternoon to the St Cyrus Nature Reserve. There is a herd of Highland Cattle there that sometimes come near to the fence and today was such a day! This little calf was having a drink and I captured him with his nose deep in the trough. It didn't look half as interesting in a photo as it had in real life however, and so I chose his one. I think he was annoyed that I had interrupted his pleasure! I have seen an albino Highland and also a black one but never one this shandy colour before.
