Flash in a pan

Well, not the best sleep ever, but arrived fairly rested into very hot, cloudy, rainy season. Long drive into Colombo from the airport along a new road opened for the recent Commonwealth conference, driving past lagoon, palm trees and quite a few corrugated iron villages.
After a quick shower I made a dash to a shop called Barefoot with some gorgeous fabrics then back in time for our first meeting. Some confusion over the documentation and criteria we have to apply, so took a while to hammer it out, then to dinner in the hotel's fish restaurant. We sat right next to the chefs-action packed cooking!
Bed-hoping for better sleep tonight!
