When the wheels come off

Not a metaphor. Driving home this morning the car started making a clunking noise. Next thing, the back's collapsed and a wheel goes sailing off in front of me into the undergrowth. Fortunately I was only doing 20. It took the AA almost five hours to arrive. My subscription's up for renewal next month - I'm cancelling it and going elsewhere
