More Autumn Colour

This Cornus Kousa is a native of Japan and Korea which has established itself comfortably in the garden, being quite trouble and maintenance free. There is all-year round interest. It has small white bracts in late spring/early summer, followed by small red fruits. I treat it as a small tree which is now over 4 m tall after 10 years but it can be pruned to shape as a large, multi-stemmed shrub. The autumnal glow of the foliage is fabulous.
