A few years ago I heard libraries were threatened with closure. I joined up immediately (having moved to a new city) and since then I've been a very loyal member.

I heard today that 350 libraries in England had to close - funding cuts

The Edinburgh libraries are trying to meet new needs - with apps , ebooks, dvds, talks, blogs and lots more. They also offer visually impaired people an opportunity to try different types of assistive technologies with support and expertise to learn how to use them. I love my library.

Missed the Sopranos on tv so catching up now.
