I love that when it snows anywhere it makes everything beautiful. I found myself staring out of my office window at the "ugly as sin" patio furniture thinking, " my goodness that is pretty".
So if you have not heard the South got more than a few inches of snow today. THis was all very exciting and I am sure for all of you Notherns or East Coasters you are just about fed up with the white stuff. Well it might make you smile to think of us Southerners prancing around with all business and schools canceled due to the "unmanagable weather conditions". You guys have to deal with it so you are more than capable of operating a vehicle during these cumbersome conditions....some of us...not so much. It is just best to shut the South down when things of this nature happen. FEMA is busy at this point so we wont add to the stress.
Anyway, clean....everything is covered and white and just quiet. I live on a popular street and my house is right on a busy corner. I rarley get to just stare at my house and think about how fun it is to live there. Today I stood in front of my house with new thankfulness for the shelter it offers me, as well as the memories that it holds. Not to mention that it was looking elegant and sophisticated today. I need this little head turn to remember to thank God for the things that are right under my nose...or over my head.
