Calm After The Storm

What a beautiful day up here in Shetland. The sun woke up early and been out all day. Fairly warm too and not much wind. What a difference a day makes :)

Up early with the sunrise and enjoyed a peaceful walk with Sammy dog before work. With Halloween just around the corner, I've been preparing bairns activities at work and displays for the October holidays. Another busy day in the museum too with more knitters at Wool Week and some knitting workshops on too. Back home and with the shorter days, it was a quick bite to eat and out to enjoy the last of the day with Sammy in the peaceful evening. Off to visit family this evening before I head to work in the pub tonight.

After the storms over the past few days, it was lovely to see the sunrise this morning, so calm and peaceful. Taken from my front door at Aith, Cunningsburgh and looking over Helliness.
