The road to Lileen...
... is very small.
Wild and woolly weather - thunder, lightening, torrential rain, a smidgeen of sunshine, electricity cuts. Himself gave the range a quick service this morning and cleaned the chimney ( wood burner now lit!) and I put away my summer clothes and edited some more Bantry House pix.
In the afternoon we went across the mountain to Schull, our hairdresser having rang to say that the power was now back on after a monumental flash of lightening struck Schull this morning. Coming home Himself decided to come the scenic route - we were enticed by the sudden appearance of dramatic clouds and the lure of a tiny road we had never been up before- Lileen. We proceeded, parked, and took stormy blips, the new hair-dos ravaged! The road was very tiny, the landscape windswept and just about everything happening skywards.
The lights are still flickering ! Off to find the candles.
