I surrender

There's nothing else for it.
I gathered up some firewood last week when we had nice weather but I didn't expect to use it for a while yet. But today was just so damp and cold and stormy that I gave in!
It's a quiet refuge after a wild night. I was called out last night to an ill parishioner and on my way home at 1.30am I had the strange experience of driving through a lightning storm that just seemed to be all around me. I didn't have a camera to hand and even if I had I don't think I'd have stopped to get a photo!
