Observation Point

. . . at the practice area of RAF Holbeach. I missed the aerial activity this morning, but was told that F15s would be operating from 4pm. I duly returned but sadly one of them had crashed near Spalding, pilot ejecting safely. The plane crashed not far from a village and its school. Understandably the exercise for which I was waiting was cancelled.
