A changing view

Looking from Manchester and New Quay St towards Salford. In the foreground the Irwell St bridge, with on the left a new Premier Inn being fitted out and due to open for business in mid November. The Victoria and Albert hotel, out of picture, is on the other side of the Irwell. The roadworks on Irwell St are sorting out a junction to the New Bailey site where a new multi storey car park in under construction - also opening before Christmas. Beyond the railway the new Ainscow Hotel, a conversion of a 19th century warehouse building. To the left of that the spire of Salford's RC Cathedral. And beyond all that against a greying sky, a hint of a rainbow.
