Red moon

We had a brilliant view of the total eclipse of the moon last night, here in Christchurch, with a clear sky, and I took this shot at five minutes past twelve, with the moon in the earth's shadow.

I did take more pics earlier, as more of the moon's surface was gradually obscured, and I'll add a few to my flickr site later. Link here.
