Porty People and Places
Another busy day of work meant I only got to the beach as the light began to fade. The beach is littered with seaweed and less familiar shells wrestled from the rocks further into the Firth by the heavy seas that I assume accompanied the rain while we were away.
While I was taking my blip I was approached by a lady who was very agitated about the fracking threat to the whole of this shore line by a deal, she told me, that had been struck covertly by Westminster without recourse to Holyrood. She told me that the next big protest movement was already underway in opposition to this project.
I am now in the process of finding out more about what is in store for us all if this work proceeds below our sea shore.
