Yellow Sky

I immediately thought of Stephen Crane's The Bride Comes to Yellow Sky as I was driving into this panorama early today. Instantly a flood of thoughts about Crane's short stories barreled through my head, particularly the classic Maggie: A Girl of the Streets. The story of Maggie made a huge impression on me 30 years ago and helped to change my understanding of the power of words and the effect they can have to move our souls.
