Unlikely Pair

On a visit to Princes Park, Damian spotted these two unlikely companions sitting on a log. It didn't look as though they were fighting, and I'm hoping there wasn't any interspecies shenanigans going on, so we weren't quite sure what led to a spider sitting on top of a beetle but it made for a good blip! Damian has been trying to teach me his tricks to do better macro shots (one of my favourites of his can be found here) so I must give credit to his keen observation and photography skills helping me capture this today!
