The Blue Lake

We returned home to Wanaka from Naseby today but not before stopping at St Bathan's for a delicious beer (or two), as you do.

There was no shortage of blip shots today, there never is in the mighty Maniototo. I had to chose between the unlimited big sky scenery, the stunning Blue Lake and stark mined-out back drop, the quaint St Bathan's pub or our kids with the 4 bunnies they extracted from a nest with the help of Jack the resident dog.

As tempted as I was I thought my kids have been too dominant lately so here goes another bloody lake.
