Joined some astronomers for lunch and then had a quiet afternoon culminating in a trip to the beach at Poetta and this shameless selfie.

Biggs is talking tomorrow so he was busy with his slides and stuff, so I set off to walk to this beach. It took about 30 minutes but was right beside a dual carriageway, so next time, I'm taking the bus! It was rather nice though, if urban.

Cagliari is very Mediterranean and beautiful. However I fear a lot of it lies uphill.....and it's hot, man.
