Walked under the Clyde Tunnel (first time) today and walked to Govan Old Parish Church to see the http://www.thegovanstones.org.uk/about.html. "unique collection of early medieval stones carved in the 9th – 11th centuries to commemorate the power of those who ruled the Kingdom of Strathclyde." With the sarcophagus being. the only one of its kind carved from solid stone from pre-Norman, northern Britain.

Ps the graveyard is supposed to be a excellent 'haunt' of those who aee not resting in peace. It os believed 1st church on the site was 5th or 6th Century
