The Inspirational @shaunacoxsey

We had the delightful Shauna Coxsey as a guest in school today to talk to the children. She was amazing!! At four she decided that she wanted to be a professional climber and followed that dream ever since, putting in incredible amounts of dedication and work to achieve her goal.

The messages for this children were brilliant, as she also told them how she worked hard in all subjects at school to ensure that she had choices. She got all her qualifications to get accepted at all the universities she applied for, but become a professional climber :) She won her first gold medal in the world competitions this year and showed us a ton of photos and a couple of films relating to her life and experiences.

So inspirational.

Jnr Jnr thought so too as I was told on the way home that Shauna had inspired her to be a professional climber too. Quality role model.
