Antiques Roadshow - worth the wait :-)

I love, love, love the Antiques Roadshow! Never miss it. I've only ever turned it off once. That was when it was a WWI special and they were reading out love letters that a doomed pilot had written to his new wife, sent shortly before he was shot down. Heartbreaking.

Today I had the absolute pleasure of dragging my boys along to the filming of the new series at Kelvingrove Art Galleries. It was great! We queued for an age to get my mum's Michael Jackson memorabilia seen. The lovely, lovely Ronnie Archer-Morgan wanted to see it but he had to shoot off and do some filming (and he hadn't even had his make up done yet lovey!). Apparently, Ronnie used to work at the Rainbow Theatre where my mum had seen The Jacksons in 1979 and for which we had an original programme! So he told us to return in an hour so he could have a proper look at mum's memorabilia.

We went off, got some lunch and returned as instructed. Ronnie, my new pal by now, came back again and told us to wait another half an hour. Which we did. Half an hour later he dutifully came back, by which time I was fully expecting to get filmed for the telly. He had a quick look at our memorabilia, went off to chat to his pal then came back and told us it was all worth £100 and sorry for keeping us waiting. And, that was that.

It was awesome. Love you Ronnie!

Fiona's quite lovely too. She does ever so delicate sneezes.
