That There London

After a day's respite at home I am back in London till the end of the week.

For some weeks now I have been wanting to see the Real Tudors exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. Tonight I got the chance to go and see it as it was late night opening. Its not often I get to enjoy being in London so it was a rare treat to go and o something even if only for an hour or so.

Some of the portraits were spectacular and the detailed of the paintings exquisite. With today's modern technology they have also been able to see the pencil drawings and rework behind the paintings and also date the wood used for the trees.

Fascinating.
