Spinning yarn

Woke up this morning with a twinge/pain in my back that has remained all day (coming out in sympathy with him indoors). Spent the day being careful when walking and slowly sitting down (and trying to sit straight). Hopefully it's just an off day.

Lace group tonight and a great talk/demonstration from Jan Blight (http://www.janblight.co.uk). Jan described the different yarns produced from animal fleece through to plastic milk bottle tops, and then showing us the fantastic spinning wheel. The waistcoat she is wearing is one she has produced (from fleece), having spun, dyed and then knitted. She doesn't follow a pattern, there are no sewings, fantastic result!
