And Let the Madness Begin

Beautiful sky on the ferry home tonight. Quite a few rally cars too - and extra police signifying the imminent start of the rally that runs through Friday night. Saturday and into the early hours of Sunday morning. Can hear the revving of speeding cars on the Salen road as they do their various checks. Lots of excitement matched by the annual decline in both local and visitor driving styles - like a testosterone fuelled virus. And come Sunday/Monday, bashed up rally cars and over-tired participants will head back home with tales of blown gaskets and broken axels, and start planning for the next one.

Been a good day - we took the YCs up to Dunollie House in Oban to take some photos. I've never been before - lovely place and gardens, and the people working there are great. And to top it all got treated to a delicious meal out at the Hebridean Lodge Restaurant - thanks J and D!
