Dolgarrog

There was a flood on the 2nd November 1925 when the dam burst, 15 were killed, the church was swept away and the water was about 50' deep at the road.
I climbed up today and frightened myself on the slippery wet path above the gorge.
An excellent lunch in the Old Ship.
I hit the wall of traffic near Shotton on the way back at 3pm. A horrendous accident on the M56. I eventually arrived home at 8:15pm having been parked up on the motorway until the drivers could be cut out and the wreckage cleared.
A horrible job for some poor policeman delivering the news to someone awaiting the return of a loved one.
