Chatty or quiet in my class today. Topics include neo, liberal and radical feminism, Norman maccaig, self reliance vs benefits, personal legal battles and large families. Poetry slam I organised and brought sweets in for flopped but win some lose some. I tried to read a little at lunchtime but mostly I am so exhausted my head wants to crash onto the table.

Accompanied flat mate to arika discussion group, I wasn't on good form. Another friend L comes to stay after a gig and gently relates problems of such scale and depth I'm left staggered at her smile. My issues are far less and in my orbit to fix.

I love my teaching job but tomorrow i'm probably going to have to quit... Hope another solution can be found, but can't balance workload of PhD. Its week 2 and I'm behind 890 pages, 6 assignments and teary. Not right.
