Paradise?

Back in the early 90's someone I knew at University had copy of The Lilac Time's folksy pop album 'Paradise Circus' - they were disappointed when I informed them that the titled didn't refer to an idyllic state but to huge grey a traffic island in the centre of Birmingham.

Back in the early 60's , my parents met whilst working in adjoining shops on Paradise Street.(love that name)... They divorced in the early 80's and never spoke to one another for the rest of their lives.

Today, Paradise Place smells of piss.
