Thekla

I went to see Grant Lee Phillips and Howe Gelb at the Thekla in Bristol tonight. This is, in fact, a boat, quite a cool venue. Howe Gelb was very good at that Tom Waits style raconteur. You could imagine sitting in a dark bar, with a bottle of bourbon while he sang his melancholy ballads.
