Morning Moonscape

Up on the hills behind us. Impossible to catch on my iPhone so worked accordingly. The moon sits to the left, almost gone & sitting at the side of the wind turbines at the top of the mountains as sun breaks. Really beautiful.

We drove south yesterday and the scenery was bewitching. Almost alp like. The Cephalonian roads though are on a knife edge. If there were tremors here you get the feeling the whole thing might crumble. In season too it must be a bit of a mare. Now, it's a delight.

We have loved this island though it's people in general, not the bar staff but normal people in the street, have not been particularly friendly. A real contrast to Crete last year for example. I've tried my best shining smiles and have occasionally pulled off a response to my huge delight! I guess at the end of the season they are thinking 'are you tourists still here?!'
