Little Birds

Lots of birds still in the village today after the gales, folk out with their binoculars looking at redwings, black caps, a long eared owl, red polls, siskins and a little brown warbler. Sadly I can't recognise half of these, but I did have a wonderful sight of a very striking male hen harrier, bright white and grey, hunting in the stubble field.

Down to the surgery this morning for my flu vaccination. Standing room only in the waiting room, a grand chance to have a blether with everyone, almost a party atmosphere in there! Nice to see folk so cheery at the doctors'!
