Lest We Forget

A very hurried detour sent me to the Tower (not 'sent' you understand....) to look at the poppies. There are an AWFUL lot of them.....
They looked rather lovely swaying in the wind, some of different heights, but I couldn't help feeling that the more there were, the less they seem to be pouring from the opening in the castle walls. Just too damn many perhaps....



Going to London for a two hour meeting always seems to take a lot of time. Maybe next time I'll just take the day off so I don't feel like the whole time is spent sitting (or standing!!!) on a train.
