Hare at Rimac

Can't resist these beautiful clear mornings and this morning went to Rimac with a friend, arriving half an hour before sunrise. High tide was a half hour later. Again it was a tide that covered the salt marsh and as well as hundreds of birds having to reposition themselves with the incoming tide we spotted this hare leaping about trying to escape the water. He was surprised to see us on the path and ran straight towards us before leaping into the scrub. What a great sight as the early sun shone on him!
