Shire horses at Langley

Spotted these two this afternoon on their way to eat some hay. They are working horses on a farm in Langley. I seem to have posted a few photos in and around Langley recently, because I seem to drive through there several times a week and it makes a change from photos of the views around the farm. Today, Grace and I passed the horses on our way to Haltwhistle for the first of six pre-school preparation sessions. It was very strange being away from Ophelia for a few hours, but I needn't have worried as she slept the whole time Hubby was looking after her!
